Two C-130 Hercules aircraft from the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, prepare for take-off prior to an elephant walk that will showcase the force and the new modifications to the aircraft on September 11, 2022 in Savannah, Georgia. Over the last 18 months, the entire 165th AW fleet of C-130H aircraft was modernized with NP-2000 eight blade propellers and T-56 engines. The eight-bladed propellers will deliver more power and efficiency while reducing maintenance.
