LONG LIVE LOVE LIFE by Ryan Callanan - Decorated fibreglass replica of the K6 telephone kiosk near the Tate Modern Gallery, London,UK

UK, London - Summer 2012: Artists from around the world have been invited to decorate fibreglass replicas of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott's K6 telephone kiosk. The K6 kiosk was introduced in 1936 to commemorate the silver jubilee of King George V. The kiosks will be on display out of doors and at the end of the display they will be auctioned to raise funds for charity (Childline). The 'Long Live Love LIfe' artbox is decorated by Ryan Callanan and a pink Union Jack is wrapped around the box and the words are intended to represent the reign and life of Queen Elizabeth the II. This telephone box is sited outside the Tate Modern and the situation is rather appropriate as Giles Gilbert Scott also bulit the Bankside Power Station which is now the Tate Modern
