A woman applies rainbow make up during the Pride of the Stonewall 50th anniversary, the Pride Walk theme this year is ‘Remember the past, create the future’. The Pride Walk is a demonstrative and activist walk from the Homomonument to the Vondel Park. This is the 'counterpart' of the world-famous boat parade that takes place a week later on August 5th. Thousands of people participated by carrying the flags of the countries where homosexuality is in the Penal Code.
