SSGT Jay Loudenback, 12th Fighter Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK, dons his protective chemical gear at the sound of an alarm during a Combat Employment Readiness Exercise. He will be in Mission-Oriented Protective Posture level four (MOPP 4). MOPP 4 provides the highest degree of chemical protection; personnel don the battledress overgarment, chemical protective footware covers, protective mask and hood, and NBC rubber gloves with cotten liners.
