It consists of alarge angle plate, which is clamped to the planer bed in theusual manner. The driving boxes are placed on either side ofthis plate, the center of the box being set to a center line marked on the cross-rail. The side tools are placed in heads and ad-justed by means of the turnbuckle on the connecting one side of the flange has been planed, the links are re-versed, changing the motion for planing the opposite flange. After finishing the first side of the boxes, the cross feed isagain required, and all that it is necessary to do
