Victorian depiction of a scene at the Blue Boar inn, in which Oliver Cromwell supposedly intercepted a letter from King Charles I. Soldiers search a messenger's bags and find the letter detailing plans for the King to join forces with the Scots in order to thwart Cromwell's rebellion. From The Nation's Pictures.
