Tourists on the Gordon Dam, Tasmania
A small group of tourists on the wall of the Gordon Dam. Completed in 1974 this double curvature concrete dam holds back the waters of Lakes Gordon and Pedder forming the largest water storage area in Australia ( cubic kilometres of water). At the time the building of the dam was highly controversial with environmentalists.
