Hornbill festival is held in the first week of December. Each tribe is dressed in traditional ceremonial attire and can be distinguished by costumes, jewellery and beads that its members wear. Multi-coloured spears, headgear of bamboo, boar's teeth and hornbill's feathers and ivory armlets. Nagas are known for their folk dances and songs.
