A row of small shops, bistros and eateries on Ardmore Street in Wanaka, a small summer /Winter ski resort town in the Otago region of South Island in New Zealand. Nearby is Lake Wanaka, covering an area of 278 meters above sea level and is more than 300 m deep. It is New Zealand's fourth-largest lake. In summer, Wanaka offers many outdoor activities. In winter, Wanaka attracts competitive European snow-skiers to the nearby snow-capped mountains and the Southern Alps in Mount Aspiring National Park.
