Notre Dame is a very ancient cathedral set in Paris, France. Built during the middle ages, it is there that Victor Hugo situated his famous novel "Notre Dame de Paris" featuring the Hunchback and Esmeralda. A lot of films and musicals were drawn from that novel, including a famous one with Gina Lollobridgida as Esmeralda.
