Middelgrunden Offshore Wind Farm outside Copenhagen. The Øresund Bridge to Sweden left in distance. HOFOR and Middelgrundens Wind Turbine Cooperative.

Middelgrunden Offshore Wind Park outside Copenhagen Harbour consists of 20 wind turbines. The ten northernmost wind turbines are owned by Ørsted (former DONG), the other ten turbines are owned by the Middelgrunden Wind Turbine Cooperative (Middelgrundens Vindmøllelaug). Danes invest in wind power with their saved money as members of the co-operative society. Middelgrunden is a shoal situated East of the northern tip of Amager.
