Marines with Company A., 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (2d LAR), 2nd Marine Division clear a trench during an Infantry Platoon Battle Course (IPBC) as part of a Deployment for Training (DFT) exercise at Fort Pickett, Va., Aug. 22, 2018. The unit completed IPBC to increase Light Armored Vehicle crew and scout cohesion, while also preparing for potential real-world contingencies.
