Some few are occa- sionally busy with funeral work and a decoration sometimes gives a little stimulus, but trade on the whole is., quiet. Carnations are not procurable. Roses are getting a little better and the demand for them is good. A few Easfer lilies are coming in and find a ready market. Last week there were some cool nights, the temperature one night going down to 39 degrees. Various Notes. J. A. Sked, formerly with the Park Floral Co., has gone to Colorado Springs to take a position as foreman with Frank Crump. Charles McCord and Miss Ina Whit- taker, of the Park Floral Co., and Miss Edna McCord have gone to the moun- tains on a two weeks' fishing trip. They are camping at the foot of Mount Evans. David Bengley, for the last three years foreman at the Elitch-Long Greenhouses, has resigned his position. He is now foreman at the Harmon place of the Mauff Floral Co. Mr. Mc- Namara has taken Mr. Bengley's place at the Elitch-Long Greenhouses. K. S. NEWPOET, E. I.
