War exhibits that played a part in the Bay of Pigs in 1961 are on public display at the Museum of the Revolution- Museo de la Revolucion in Avenida Belgica in Havana, Cuba. The fighter aircraft of the Cuban Air Force is the Hawker Sea Fury with its registration number 542 parked in front of the glass building where Fidel Castro’s boat, Granmar is on also public display. The Sea Fury was one of 17 refurbished aircraft purchased from Hawker Siddeley in Britain. It saw action against Fidel Castro’s invading forces during the 1959 Cuban revolution.
