This delicious, new pea is the sweetest in existence. It is a cross with American Wonder and Telephone, and inherits the delicacy of these fine varieties. Wlien seen growing with other sorts, it is conspicuous for its uncommonly large foliage, its strong stocky vine and the abundance of its fine large pods. In rich soil it grows about eighteen inches high, bearing pods four inches in length. It is a tremendous cropper and ripens its pods very evenly, so that nearly the entire crop may be taken at one picking. Per qt. 40 cts.; pk. Cardinal Globe We can safely recommend this sort as being of first quality in all respects for forcing. Of globular shape and brilliant red color, with short top, and especially adapted for forcing, as it will stand a large amount of heat without becoming pithy ; flesh tender, crisp, and in (jnality all that can be desired. Per oz. 10 cts.; } lb. 25 cts.; per lb. 80 cts. White-Tipped Scarlet Gem Radish. A new and excellent variety for forcing, with very short leaves, bright scarlet, with a clearly defined white tip, giving it a very attractive appearance when bunched for market. It is a quick grower, tender and crisp. Per oz. 10 cts.; i lb. 20 cts.; per lb. 60 cts. Dreer's Scarlet Prame Radish. One of the earliest and best of the Turnip varieties- for forcing ; very short-leaved ; small top ; color of skin dark red, white-fleshed, with very small tap root.
