A flintlock pistol, Maastricht, end of the 17th century. Two-stage barrel, bevelled breech section becoming round after balusters with smooth bore in 15 mm calibre. The tang and barrel root engraved with vine work. The lockplate of the flintlock also engraved is inscribed, "Mastreck". Openwork, chiselled side plate. Walnut full stock with iron furniture. Incorrect iron ramrod. Metal surfaces cleaned and slightly pitted in places. Stock has minor shrinkage cracks. Minor defects in the area of the lockplate.
