A silver-mounted kinjal with byknife, Caucasus, dated 1784 Blade with a double fuller on both sides with etched Damascus structure in the grooves and gold-inlaid ornamentation running all the way to the point. Owner's inscription on the obverse side with a double smith mark on the reverse side. Silver-mounted horn grip scales. Shagreen leather covered wooden scabbard with openwork silver and niello mountings on the obverse side, the reverse side of the locket bears a niello-inlaid owner's inscription and the date "1198" (= 1784).
