Miletus was an ancient Greek city flourishing from the 8th century BC in the west of nowadays Turkey. The settlement was in former times at the coast but is now situated inland. The most impressive building is the Greek theater with seating for people. Milet war eine Stadt im alten Griechenland, die ab dem 8. Jahrhundert vor Christus aufblühte. Damals lag der Ort an der Küste, heute finden sich seine Ruinen einige Kilometer landeinwärts. Besonders beeindruckt das Theater, in dem einst Zuhörer Platz fanden.
