He is a team leader, a billet normally held by a corporal or above. Since arriving in Kuopio, Finland, Martin has taken his role as a team leader to the next level by supervising and directing the Marines of the ordnance shop for the entire flight schedule. Martin leads the morning meetings, issues orders and roles to the Marines, and ensures the flight schedule is ready for the day. VMFA-115 is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, which is the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
