Berlin,Kreuzberg,Gorlitzer elderly man sitting on wooden bench next to graffiti covered van. Gorlitzer railway station office building housed Das Edelweiss cafe that has now closed down. Görlitzer Park is a recreational area. The park was laid out in the late twentieth century on the grounds of the former Görlitzer Bahnhof station between Wiener Straße and Görlitzer Straße. The station was severely damaged by Allied Air Raids during World War 2 and the only remaining buildings of the former station are two goods sheds, an old office building, the railway bridge and the remains of pedestrian tunnnel and a few track remnants
