Not resistant to Fusarium wilt. Days 82 RED TOP A paste-type variety introduced by the New York Experiment Station at Geneva. Vine determinate and compact, much branched with thick foliage. Fruits oval shape, 2y2" - 3y2" long, 1" - iy2" diameter; 7 to 10 fruits per lb., deep red, mostly 2-celled; in concentrated set that can be harvested in two pickings. 74 RUTGERS An excellent canning variety of wide adaptation. Vine large and prolific with thick stems and vigorous growth; partially resistant to Fusarium wilt. Fruits globular, bright red, smooth, with thick walls and small seed cells. By careful selection over a period years, we have developed a very choice deep fruited strain, notable for its uniformity and high yield of No. 1 fruits. Certified Rutgers, in sealed Asgrow containers, is our strain with State De- partment of Agriculture certification of trueness to type and and freedom from seed borne diseases. 86 SAN MARZANO (Improved King Humbert) A small fruited variety used for canning solid pack, paste, and puree. Vine medium, rather open, very prolific. Fruits largely rectangular, Zy2" long x 1^2", two-celled, borne in clusters, deep red, with little juice and of very mild flavor. The Asgrow strain is notably thick, uniform and solid. 80 SCARLET
