Local residents have started a petition to Save Leather Lane Oaks. A new Stop HS2 protest camp has been set to protect the majestic oaks from imminent destruction by HS2. The controversial High Speed 2 rail link from London to Birmingham is carving a huge scar across the Chilterns which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty causing much upset to locals and tree lovers.
