Elder Mets as-sisted in buildingMorgan City, Utah, and in October,1879, moved to Mesa, Arizona, wherehe arrived in February, 1880. Hisfamily, at that time, consisted oftwelve souls, including his wifesmother and Cornells Dirk and Geertjevan Ek Exalto, whom he cared for. Elder Mets left Mesa for the Neth-erlands (not traveling via Salt LakeCity) Nov. 26, 1890, and succeeded,upon his arrival, Francis A. Brownas president of the mission.
