World Black Pudding Throwing Competition 11 September 2011, The Oaks Pub, Bridge Street, Ramsbottom. Competitors aim to dislodge Yorkshire Puddings from a plinth on scaffolding, using three throws of black puddings, whilst standing on a 'Golden Grid; positioned outside the pub entrance. Competitors came from Austrakia, America, The Netherlands, and thtoughout the UK. This year's winner was Warwick Turner 41, from Gold Coast, Australia. His family originate from Ramsbottom, and he was over on holiday to visit them. The Hairy Bikers also made an appearance with a BBC crew FREE FOR USE BY MEN. Available for syndication at usual rates.
