Small «Ss Sons, visited Washington, D. C, Feb- ruary 25, and attended the dinner of the Gridiron club. His brother, J. H. Small, of Washing-ton, is a member of the club and took, an active part in the proceedings, which have received ex- tended notice in the daily press. Prizes of $25 each were offered at the Greelc ball for the best lady and gentleman two step dancers. The prizes were won by Miss Anna Wier and Stamatis Semitopoulos. Over 2,000 persons attended the ball. The boys are saying: "Hello, Pap!" to Theodore Malandre, head of the well known retail firm of Malandre Brothers. It is now Malandre Brothers ?—and son. Richard Vincent, Jr., White Marsh, Md., was in the city to attend a meet- ing of the American Dahlia Society, held February 29 at the Hotel Grand.
