ARABIAN GULF (July 31, 2017) Navy Sailors and Marines watch as an F/A-18C Hornet, from the “Death Rattlers” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323, lands on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), July 31, 2017, in the Arabian Gulf. Nimitz is currently on deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
