A Japanese wakizashi, circa 1686 or 1864 Blade shinogi-tsukuri, torii-zori. Chu-kissaki, sugu ha hamon. Ko-maru boshi with short kaeri. Hada stained and worn by polishing, remnants of a kesho polish. Nakago with three mekugi-ana and kiri yasurime, inscribed "Fushima Tomoshige". Gilt copper habaki with yasurime. Mokkogata shakudotsuba with floral decoration, kurigata is missing. Tsuka with fuchi kashira made from partly gilt shakudo decorated en suite as well as blossom-shaped menukis. Velvet binding over same.
