The committee also carried outthe beautiful plan of decoration and illumination on MainStreet. The Committee on Publicity kept the Celebration before thepublic in many ways. Printed envelopes of the Bi-Centennialwere furnished to the citizens to the extent of several thousand very attractive cards were sent throughout theState, and frequent items were published in all the newspapersof the State.
