Dr. Bob Newton, Director of Cadet and Vocal Music at the Coast Guard Academy, at his retirement ceremony, Aug. 27, 2021. Newton, enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1969 eventually becoming a Coast Guard musician and his career spanned five decades at the Coast Guard Academy.
