Silvers was recognized as one of Team Andersen's Best by 36th Wing leadership for not only performing his daily duties as a Security Forces patrolman but also for managing the flight appointments and overseeing the sponsorship program. Additionally, Silvers selflessly devoted his off duty time to volunteer at the base middle school's field day, the Arc Light Defender Association car wash, and Jungle Enforcement Operations where he dedicated 20 off-duty hours to assist in protecting the installation from unauthorized poachers. He also spends his free time working to build a Police Explorers program on island to give young adults a chance to explore a career in law enforcement by working alongside local law enforcement agencies. He is also a member of the Dorm Council and is working toward his career goal of being military working dog handler by volunteering with the K-9 unit on base. Finally, Silvers was handpicked to have breakfast with 11th Air Force Command Chief and was coined by the Mission Support Group commander for his outstanding presentation during the group staff meeting.
