Fairground carousel horses in storage having winter repairs done out of season.
During the "Off Season" "Owen Smith" repaints the delicate gold decorations on "Galloper Ann" one of 39 wooden horses that make up the "Golden Galloping Horses" on "Brighton seafront" Known locally as The Carousel the 1888 Allchins built fairground ride is annually taken into storage in the seafront arches for the winter where it is broken down into 1500 pieces then checked for "wear and tear" and given a repaint before being reassembled for the new summer season.
