A Swedish officer's sabre, circa 1900 Slender, etched pipe-back blade, obverse designation "Fäderneslandet", the reverse with "Konungen", each amid tendrils and surmounted by the Swedish coat of arms. Finely chased and gilt brass knuckle-bow hilt in relief, lion's head pommel cap, ray skin grip with wire wrapping and applied cipher "A" beneath the crown of a count. Leather-covered iron scabbard with the fittings likewise gilt and decorated in rocaille work.
