WATERS SOUTH OF JAPAN (May 17, 2017) Chief Gunner’s Mate Laura Needham fires a .50 caliber machine gun during live-fire exercise aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85). The ship is on patrol in the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
