ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 18, 2017) Aviation Electronics Technician 1st Class Michael Buchholz, from Alpharetta, Ga., conducts pre-flight inspections on an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to the Dusty Dogs of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Ike is currently conducting aircraft carrier qualifications during the sustainment phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
