It grows to a very large size, often measuring 24 inches in length. The quality is the best, exceedingly crisp and tender. When sliced and served with vinegar it is unsurpassed in flavor. It is a vigorous grower and very prolific. Pkt., 25 cts. CURRIE S EARLY MAR- KET CABBAGE. Just what the market gardener has been looking for. This new variety, introduced by us four years ago, has proved one of the best, if not the very best, early va- riety in cultivation. It is earlier than Wakefield, and the heads are firmer and larger, with few outside loose leaves. Its cooking qualities are the best, tender and mild in flavor. It has taken the lead of all the early varieties in this section, and fiom the reports we have had from other States we find it has proved all we claim for it. We have sold at this date, for next 'season's growth, fully twice as much seed of it to the market gardener as we sent out in the past four years, or since it was first introduced by us, which is a proof of its popularity among gar- deners. Last peast)n we received a large number of testimonials of its fine quali- ties from many sections of the country. We are convinced that before long it will be the leading early Cabbage in the coun- try. Like all extra early varieties, it is conical in shape.
