ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 21, 2014) New York-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21), right, Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), center, and San Antonio-class multi-purpose amphibious assault dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) sail in the Atlantic Ocean Dec. 21, 2014. The Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group/24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations.
