Quoits Match at Glaisdale North Yorkshire Moors National Park England

The game of quoits is very popular in the Esk valley, with several villages having their own pitches, normally located behind a village pub which seems a sensible place to have it. There is a local quoits league and games are played Mondays and Thursdays through the summer. Metal rings are thrown at a steel peg buried deep in a square of wet clay
