Air Force Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP) Operators and MC-130H Combat Talon II loadmasters, assigned to 1st Special Operations Wing, Hurlburt Air Force Base, Florida, race to retrieve a fuel hose after offloading fuel at King Salmon Air Force Station, Alaska, in support of joint flying operations during Northern Edge 2021, May 6, 2021. Approximately 15,000 service members are participating in a joint training exercise hosted by Pacific Air Forces May 3-14, 2021, on and above the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex, the Gulf of Alaska, and temporary maritime activities area.
