A night view of the small island of the Lake of Ioannina (or Pamvotis lake), with the simple name "Nisaki" (means "little island"). Photo taken from Drabatova, a place on the west bank of the lake, where the inhabitants of the island leave their cars and boats. Its peaceful atmosphere is enchanting! Its beautiful village has been declared traditional settlement to be preserved. On that little island you can find 7 very important monasteries. Along the shores of the islet there are some tavern as which specialist in fish dishes from the lake's fish, frog's legs, eels and other specialities.
