Square Vietnam Veterans. Between Water St and South St. The May 4, 1985 Mayor Edward built this place in honor of the 250,000 men and women of the city of New York who served in the armed forces between 1964 and 1975 in the war in Vietnam, and especially the 1741 who lost their lives. The square was remodeled in 2001 by Mayor Giuliani.
