To my mind the conventional endingof a play, in wedding, divorce or death, does not seem to be the onlyone, although it does appeal to the average publisher and stage-manager. 1 interpret the great Hook of Life differently, and I believe thatthe general public is coming to read it according to the more naturalway, too.
