Fly agaric mushrooms (Amanita muscaria). The cap of this poisonous fungus contains the powerful hallucinogenic compounds ibotenic acid and muscimol. It was used by Siberian shaman to induce trances. This mushroom is so-called because in medieval times it was mixed with milk and used to stupefy flies. Photographed in November in Normandy France.
