MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 1, 2014) – Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Douglas Thomas evens out the splicing of an easing line aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67). Cole, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
