Dinsmoor. Arthur W. Dinsmoor, city treasurerof Laconia, is a native Laconian, theson of the late Hon. Daniel Stark Dins-moor and Amelia M. (Whittemore). Arthur \V. Dinsmoor. Dinsmoor, born Jan. 1 r, 1870. is a descendant of the famousGen. John Stark, the Revolutionaryhero, while the Dinsmoors are descend-ants of John Dinsmoor, one of theearly settlers of New Hampshire, whowas noted for his honesty and upright-ness both by white men and Indians inthe old colonial days. Mr. Dinsmoor was educated in ourpublic schools and at New HampshireConference seminary at Tilton. Forten years he has been a faithful andtrusted attache of the Laconia Nationalbank, and he also holds several otherpositions of trust and honor. He waselected city treasurer in March, 1894,and has held the office ever since thattime, being reelected at each subse-quent annual election. He was one ofthe New Hampshire state auditors in1895, is treasurer of the Belknap CountyFish and Game League and also treas-urer of the Laconia Fress Ass
