Place des Vosges, Paris

Place des Vosges, Paris. This interesting square was originally built by Henri IV between 1605 and 1612. A carrousel took place here in 1612 to celebrate the wedding of Louis VIII to Anne of Austria. The houses were unique when built, because they all have the same basic appearance.
