Little Foot Australopithecus fossil cast. Paleoanthropologist Ronald J. Clark examines the cast of an Australopithecus skull. This skull is similar to that of Little Foot, a nearly complete Australopithecus skeleton discovered by Clark in the Sterkfontein Caves in South Africa in 1994-1998. Australopithecus is thought to be an ancestor of humans. Photographed in 2010.
