A beautiful and distinct sort from California, producing as many as a dozen brilliant, clear scarlet flowers, spotted with orange in the throat, on stalks 13 to 24 inches high; excellent for naturalizing. 5 cts. each; 50 cts. per doz.; $ per inn. GLADIOLUS, Ready in October. The early flowering sorts offered below are now largely used for forcing, coining into bloom in May. The flowers are of good size, and borne freely on long stems; 6 bulbs can be planted in a 6-inch pot. They can also be planted out- doors, being hardv with slight protection. The Bride. A lovely *pu>e white. 20 cts. per doz.; $ per 100; $8-00 per 1000. Blushing Bride, or Delicatissima. Ivory-white, with carmine blotch on the lower petals.
