Sea cliff near Glasnakille on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, showing fault lines and eroded igneous intrusions in sedimentary rock. The igneous intrusions were formed when molten lava forces it way to the surface through cracks formed in the sedimentary rock above. The intrusions have then been eroded by the sea to revealing fault lines and forming sea caves.
