Apollo Soyuz Test Project model. Model of the Apollo CSM-111 and Soyuz 19 spacecraft docked with each other during the Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP). The ASTP mission was the first joint international manned space-flight. It took place from 15-24th July 1975. The Russian Soyuz and American Apollo spacecraft docked in orbit on 17th July to test a jointly-designed international docking mechanism.
