Mobile Club- the work of the YWCA Mobile Club Van in Britain, 1943 Women of the ATS crowd round the YWCA mobile club on its visit to their lonely anti-aircraft site, to buy cosmetics, tissues, sewing kits and notepaper. YWCA club organiser Kathleen Makower can just be seen behind the counter, as she attends to them. A sign on the side of the club van states that it has come to Britain courtesy of the British War Relief Society of America.
